If you are the creator of one of the most successful games in history, why move away from the norm. Everything in game development still revolves around the $$$. Halo makes truck loads of money for Bungie, so if Halo is extremely successful, then Bungie is successful.
I love Halo and as long as they keep making quality titles, I will keep buying them.
