Funny thing is, I imagine that the majority of video game players (casual or core) don't tend to bother surfing the internet looking for comments made by CEO's.
I'm guessing most people don't even know who the CEO of activision is.
I doubt MW2 sales will suffer drastically because of it.
In fact, so long as MW2 is an amazing game, I think the only loss in sales will be from overzealous PS3 fanboys who stubbornly cling onto the idea that by not buying this game, they're somehow helping Sony.
Also, I'm not sure that many (if any) people were thinking "haha screw you activision" when the PS3 slim and price drop was announce. I'm fairly sure the reaction was "ZOMG Playstation is about to dominate again!".
