"It gives Americans just another reason to be fat, dumb and lazy.”"

Well that's not nice. We all know that only Americans play videogames. I've been playing games for more than half my life (so that's the majority), and I don't have the problems described. I mean, really. How many 30 something year old, fat, and depressed people do things besides videogames? Those don't seem to be a concern. What about the millions upon millions of people who sit on there ass and watch hours of TV? That's still a much bigger concern. At least my heart starts beating faster when I'm playing Gears of War 2.

I don't even know what their definition of gamer is. At the rate the market is diversifying, their statements are hardly true. And since they didn't sample anyone below the age of 19, they missed out on a huge population of gaming. The sample size wasn't that big, and they only sampled in a certain area of a certain state in a certain part of the U.S.

Shameless, simply shameless.
