The 13th entry of the final fantasy series is being split into three titles because the developers wanted to expand the game's universe. Giving gamers a number of unrelated stories all taking place in the same universe.
I hope this "suprise" nomura has for us will be nothing xbox 360 related. Delays are very annoying.
