Since the ps3 has such awesome reliability and performance...why would current ps3 owners upgrade? So it would seem that most of the new sales would have to come from new customers...unlike xbox owners, who are looking to trade out the RROD prone older models.
Also, Bestbuy is giving away free 160GB PS3 with a Sony HDTV purhcase, so that should help sales numbers, sicne sony counted that as sales in the past. M$ should look into that with a partner...maybe Toshiba or Samsung...get a free 360 when you buy one.
