It's F*king addictive isnt it? Especially multiplayer.
I think Wii Sports is one of the most fun games I've played in a long time... however if I compare it to a real game... it was one of the most disappointingly games ever too.
1) No complexity
2) Not enough content
3) Not enough depth
4) Gets boring after playing it for ~3 days straight.
5) (not a big gripe) but it makes your arm hurt.
6) (a big grip) HDTVs hate Wiimotes.
:)
Actually, I'll have to dispute some of this. I was playing it on the weekend, when I discovered i had missed several of the training modes - and ALL of the fitness section (which is no big deal really).
1/ Pretty much agree, although I think its more complex than is originally obvious. Part of its secret. Had some really hardcore tennis matches on the weekend ;)
2/ Don't really agree. 5 sports - including 9 different golf courses. and 15 training modes. Could be more, but its heaps - for a FREE GAME.
3/ Same as 1.
4/ Boring - yes, when played for several days straight. But its something you keep coming back to, especially when new people to come around. As its essentially a multiplayer game, the experience varies based on who you play it with. (I find GT3/GT4 boring after an hour or so...).
5/ LOL :) I do find the energy involved in playing annoying at times... but that's because Im generally a lazy person :)
6/ huh? how so? (my semi-HD TV doesn't hate it at all)? Or are you one of these people that managed to cause thousands of dollars of damage by "letting go"? ;)
