Demotruk said: Part 2: Once you have pointing, all you need is an analogue stick and a trigger and an FPS is possible. Natal doesn't have to give up controllers altogether (even if that's how they're currently marketing it, that can change). |
to the first part: please describe how hypothetical peripheral would be more accurate? are you implying that it would be something more than a hunk of plastic? if this hypothetical peripheral has its own set of electronics in order to do pointing then you would also have to conceed that the pointing wouldn't be utilizing natal at all then now wouldn't you.
to the second part: the thing is, the xbox controller is a two handed controller. so you could either use the xbox controller (which gives you the anaolog stick you need to do movements but won't allow you to point) or not use the xbox controller (which gives you pointing but not movement). of course there is one other fantasic option, utilize the natal with a one handed remote which for one MS hasn't announced (at least yet) and for two is the exact setup of sony's motion controller thingy.
