Really, I don't know why this is even important, I mean it wasn't as if Sony all of a sudden lost one of their 1st party studios, like Microsoft lost bungie (bungies now are 2nd party to microsoft, so they have the freedom to move over to 3rd party and go multiplaform if they want), all it was that two 2nd party developers moved over to 3rd party, this is the freedom being 2nd party affords them, they arn't owned by anyone. The important thing is that Sony didn't lose any of those 2 IP's.
while Sony may have lost Game republic, they seemed to have gained From software as both Demon Soul and 3D dot hero are Sony exclusives.
In any case Nothing is stopping Ninja theory and Games republic from working on sequels to Hevenly sword or folklore if Sony choose to fund the development, they'll simply have to wait till they finish the 2-3 games as per their contract with Namco Bandai, after all they haven't been bought these guys, so there free todo what they like once their projects are complete.
