Before the first previews of Lair came out questioning the controls it was massively hyped on these boards and quite a few members (we had some truly insane and amusing PS3 fans at that time) were championing it as one of the things that would turn the PS3 around.
It was only after the previews and especially the launch that Lair became a bit of a punchline.
