You know that weird feeling in your gut you get like when you're on a roller coaster? I have that feeling right now.

Now...what was the initial shipment?

Edit: @ dorbin2009:

How many people will be willing to pay $300 for a console? Well, 50 million were willing to pay $249 for a console, so...

QFT...

QFT indeed and the funny thing about that statistic is that 50 million were willing to pay $249 for a console and 50% of them weren't even gamers.

OK professor ace show us the proof 50% were not gamers

I can make cracks like that aslo: 100% of the 23 million PS3 owners are nerds living in moms basement

I wasn't trying to discredit anything if that's how you took it, take that 50% with a grain of salt, I simply said that because it's 100% believable don't you think? I wasn't trying to make 'cracks', it's just that you read about all the soccer moms buying these Wii's to play Wii-fit on and Mario and Wii-Sports. It's these games that have brought in people who wouldn't game if you gave them a console. So look at the sales of all the hardcore titles on the Nintendo platform: Zelda sold 6 mil? Metroid sold 3-4? Now when games that reach out to the casual crowd like the casual games listed above then I can safely assume that around half if not more are non gamers.

Simple analysis really I'm glad you came to my class student mhsillen
