Right, because Halo was the only shooter on that list. Let me explain. If he desires to play Metroid, it means he must have some interest in shooting or shooters. If that's the case, he'd want to play at least a couple of these games. None of these games have been released yet, so he can't exactly make assumptions about them. He also certainly hasn't played them. It's one thing to say you don't want to play them, it's another thing to claim that you don't like a genre and then list a game from the same genre as something you're looking forward to. And even if we ignore that example, there are still likely other games he could say he's looking forward to that would further explore his hypocrisy. Don't defend him, you're wasting your time. Psrock: I think he meant to that I owned, not that I was owned. |
No, because if you played Metroid prime, you'd see that its not really a shooter like Halo and the like, Metroid is more about exploration and adventure than shooting, you are mistaken if you think that liking metroid prime means you like shooters like halo
Also many of these shooters listed, like bioshock, left 4 dead, etc are sequels so i've seen their predecessors and was not impressed by them, and they were not in the vein of Metroid prime
