I do think that some of them make sense. Gentleman's agreement carries some negative implications, as does Whiter than White, but Master Bedroom certainly doesn't (i get that the Master's bedroom probably had a plantation-esque sort of origin, but the literal word Master can be perfectly benign). I don't get where Right-hand man could have problems.
