You always get screwed with trade-ins. Considering that the exclusive libraries of both consoles are awesome, I don't really see the logic in trading in one great console for another great console.
If the PS3 library appeals to you more, or you are really hard up for a blu-ray player, then sure, however, you will still be flushing money.
Games are what drive a system, and considering a giant portion of the 360/PS3 library is mulit-plat, trade in just does not seem logical (IMO).
