Overrated console. Plus Turbo-Graphx 16 wasn't even listed to vote for, an arguably better 16 bit system than the SNES. Compare the Turbo Graphx-16 versions of Castlevania: Dracula X and the Ys series with the versions on SNES or other competitor consoles and then tell me that Turbo-Graphx 16 is not the best.

Games like Bonk's Adventure looked more like its NES counterpart than a SNES game. Plus the game's library of the Turbo-Graphx 16 is not comparable to the SNES one.

Sorry Infinity, but I'm gonna have to second atma's opinion. Sure the TG-16 has some great hidden gems in its library, but overall it can't hold a candle to the SNES', hell even the Genesis' library.

Not to mention the fact that the 2 games you mentioned in your post required the expensive and hard-to-find Super CD add-on or Turbo Duo to play. And aside from the enhanced Redbook CD audio in each game, the visuals are just about on par with the average SNES game... well, at least in Dracula X's case... Ys Books I and II just looks like an NES game visually speaking, and Ys III is on par with the SNES version visually.

Games like the DKC series, FFIII (VI for the fanboys), Yoshi's Island, Killer Instinct etc., put the TG-16/CD to shame, and they didn't require expensive add-ons to play in the first place!

Oh, and congrats to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System!!!

I haven't played Yoshi's Island, but the other games were not outstanding compared to even the Tubochip games on TG16. And again, TG16 wasn't even available to vote on in this elimination game. I strongly disagree that the SNES had visuals as good as the TG16 games. Look at the TG16 Dracula X compared to the SNES Dracula X for crying out loud. The TG16 Dracula X is to date THE BEST Castlevania ever. Visually, music wise, gameplay wise, character wise, and story wise. The SNES Dracula X was THE WORST Castlevania ever, even worse than the GBA ones. Super Castlevania IV is ok, but is this remake of the old NES Castlevania the best Nintendo can offer? Yes the CD add on was expensive, but I am more arguing apples to apples than value. Console versus console the Turbo-Graphx 16 wins hands down. And if you haven't played the TG16, stay out of this conversation.
