If it's an Nvidia 8-series (e.g. 8600M) chip, the packaging material eventually will be damaged by the heat and you are entitled to a free replacement as Sony/Nvidia have admitted it's a manufacturing defect. This may apply to 7-series and 9-series parts although that hasn't been admitted yet. |
