The baby was actually a quite clever play on the look of the PS3 and the movie 2001. You should watch it sometime.
I really enjoyed the original PS3 commercials. Then again, it wasn't a big shock to see them fly right over the heads of most viewers. 2001 isn't exactly a consumer-friendly movie, but I thought the black monolith idea with the PS3 and baby at the end was very clever.
Edit: Good God, most of you call yourselves gamers (and many of you sci-fi fans) yet you haven't seen 2001? The parallels between the movie and the PS3 commercials were obvious.
