I think you are confusing the PS3 with that other sony console that launched in 2006, what a terrible console that was.

And yet that terrible console sold 23.7 million in 2.5+years @ $400, $500, and $600 price points. Yeah, terrible indeed.

And now its discontinued.

I don't get where you're going with this but it sounds like baseless insults to the PlayStaion 3. Try to steer clear of platform criticism, it makes you less reasonable to debate with.
