Its not going to be completly random gameplay. That will allow them to structure the game appropriatly across 2 discs to reduce swaping. Plus its apparently close to fitting on 1 dvd 9 here so there will be a lot of unused space on the 2nd disc. Use that space along with compression to mirror content so that swaping would only have to be over geographic extremes. Theres no reason not to use 2 discs on larger sandbox games. I'm sure there are plenty more creative ways to reduce the amount of swaping without compromising the developers design goals. Most Dev's seem to be intellignt people. :P I'm sure they will be able to figure it out. |
