Cuz the consensus from E3 was "Meh" when they announced it as an MMO.

Are you joking? The sony fans agreed that it was MeGaTON! Everyone shat their pants of excitement and anticipation. 

Only reason you are saying that is because when the 360 announces it you can act like its a stolen exclusive and huge megaton. The general consensus was "meh" but like I said "just wait till 360 gets it." I foresee a lot of people like you shouting and rejoicing.

Similar to what happened with MGS:Rising. Some of the same folks that downplayed MGS4, rejoiced over the announcement of the new Metal Gear coming to 360, especially when it was still rumored as 360 exclusive. I know what you mean, although this happens from other fans as well. Just like when some PlayStation fans downplayed Bioshock, then suddenly when it's announced for the PS3, they couldn't wait to play it.

It's the nature of gamers, if you can't get/don't have the system that a particular game is coming to, you're more likely to downplay since you can't/choose not to experience it on the opposing console.
