Why is PS3 Slim so expensive in my country?

Expect bundles to reappear as they 80GB goes out of stock. They realise that there is little reason to get the slim over the phat, and so they want to clear their 80GB stocks before they start doing bundles of the slim. It makes sense to clear their inventory of the 80GBs, it is easier to just have one SKU, and of course, the slim takes up less room on the shelf

The bundles probably won't come for a few months, though. And, depending on how successful the slim is, they might not even start coming until post-Christmas.

However, I do fully expect to see a PS3 for £225 with one game, or two older games, in most stores by March.
