Some of those crimes come with very little jail time. You could hire a lawyer to help get you out of almost all of it, and still end up spending far less than a person who downloaded the songs. The legal system on this one is seriously fucked and needs to be redone. Penalties should exceed the benefit of the crime, but only by so much.
