What i think people on this website fail to see is the average consumer buy the cheaper product of similar items. to the internet junkie vg charts website viewer the specific games on a console may be the deciding factor. but little timmy's mommy is gonna say a video game system is a video game system. I'll buy the cheaper one. everyones claim the games sale the system is not always the case. Because if that was the case are you going to tell me a 1 dollar PS3 would still be losing the console war. no it wouldnt. lets face the fact price has ALOT to do with sales. not everything but alot. especially when you have 2 similar systems. I think the WII does so well is because its something different, something new to try, and lets face it Mario is more marketable than a halo flavored mountain dew. And price is even more important when the economy is in the gutter.
