For anyone complaining about the artstyle, try reading the manga (if you're into that). It's definitely easier on the eyes, whenever I see clips of the anime I get kinda freaked out by the character design (it feels like a pretty big difference). I hated the style at first, too, but I got used it.

As for the anime, I haven't really watched it, but I know it's definitely not my thing. Weekly anime based on huge manga like One Piece tend to stall, have fillers, etc. Also, it'd take a hell of a long time to get through. I prefer the short stuff.

Oh, and yeah, the end of Death Note was awful. I didn't necessarily mind the result, but the way it happened felt pretty forced. My personal ending for the manga would be right after the, erm, halfway mark.

Have you actually seen One piece, to make such assumptions? Apart from the fillers (which are actually better then you think) the anime faithually follows the manga adaption.

I think people should go back to the anime roots and watch shit like Yu Yu Hakusho, Fist of the North Star, Saint Seiya, Galaxy Express 999 etc....

Reborn Fillers are killing me at the moment.
