that's cool, and it's sure to move consoles, having said that though I still reckon the PS3 will move way more console than the 360.

If you zoom out, you would know that Microsoft already had the pro at around 300 bucks, and all their doing is phasing out the pro and replacing it with the Elite, but the PS3 has not had a $300 version untill now, and their are allot of people who held off getting a PS3 because of the price, but now they'll get one because not only is it cheaper but it's also smaller...win win situation all around for the consumer.

Put it this way, the PS3 at the same price, offers a new slim redesign, Blu-ray movie playback, built in Wi-Fi, and free online...the PS3 simply offers more for the same price, it's a bang for your buck no matter how you cut it.

Now, the one that should be getting worried is Nintendo, their competition now have a console each that is only $50 more, but you get so much more for that $50 jump, and I'm talking about a hell of allot more value, but I think Nintendo, like the rest of us will wait for NPD to see how hardware sales are doing as well as how software is doing before reacting.

my 2 cents.
