You can't really even score video game accurately, because for a platformer fan, Orange Box would suck, for a shooter nut, Mario Galaxy would suck. Games can't really be scored like that when there is so much that is subjective. It's like rating the Mona Lisa a 10 out of 10 for art. That would mean it is equal to any other painting that gets a 10 out of 10, when they are both totally different and virtually incomparable.

Compare Salvador Dali to Leonardo DaVinci, or even Pablo Picasso, and you'll get all kinds of awesomeness, but I dare you to give them all ratings. You just couldn't do that.

Well, unless the game sucks super hard. Then they should put a warning in the magazine entitled "Attention! This game sucks!"
