I would like to think this thread is nothing but parody. However I also know that stupidity is strong with the forums as of late. The truth is that too many members have overblown expectations. See the thing is that pricing is only part of the equation, and with the prices being equal it isn't really a question of one having far more value then the other.

I know members list off features, but the truth is they are actually quite minor differences, because those features are hardly necessary or desired by the public at large.

Hard Drive swapping it really is great for the PS3, but you actually don't need it for the 360. There are no mandatory installs. Without web surfing it doesn't even need a web browser. So a little goes a very long way, and if you need to delete something large you can get it back later for free.

Wireless controllers you know honestly I don't like buying batteries in bulk. However there are a lot of gamers that think it is better then sliced bread. They want to play from anywhere in the house, and ironically you can do it from outside the house two. I have actually done it. I do like the charging system Microsoft uses. They should include that instead of a HDMI cable in my own opinion.

Web surfing on the console. You know I am just going to say it we don't need that. Most of us have a computer, and if you have high speed access and no computer your just a fool. I say if you find your predominantly using a console to surf then you would have been better off buying a laptop. You can actually take them to other places.

BluRay still isn't anywhere approaching a necessity. Most people don't have definition televisions yet. Let alone have ones that go up to 1080p. Oh and that isn't going to somehow take off this year. Most people will opt for 720p with a bigger screen, and you know honestly I can't find that I disagree with them.

Cross game chat oh I was really impressed with this about five years ago. You know when we had things like teamspeak and ventrillo for PC gaming. I am still confused why all manufacturers don't have this. You don't even need to create a dedicated server for it. Anyway hardly a major feature.

You know none of the shit you are going to hype isn't really all that relevant to your average guy in the street. These are features really only relevant to the hardest core of gamers, and they have already made up their minds and purchased their console.
