Does the Elite feature free a online service where you can play all of its games against other people and download ll of the demoes and trailers they put on it immediately or do you still have to pay $50.00 a year to do that?
The PS3's online service and the ability to play games against other people and immediately download all of the new trailers and demoes they put up on it is free out of the box.
Also does the Elite allow you to play the latest HD movies with absolutely no wait time if you live in an area where there is only one ISP provider due to the co-op law and a 512k connection speed costs you $30.00 a month or do you have to wait for 10 to 20 hour downloads to see them in such an area. Such lengthy download times for files was one of the reasons I think my original 360 died of rrod.
With PS3, you can buy a blu-ray disc at Wal~Mart and have it be immediately playable with no lag time or stress and strain on your console from having to make it download movie files for such a long time.
You also get free HDMI cables out of the box with PS3. Is Microsoft putting them back in the Elite's box after they said they were removing them a couple of days ago?
Finally, are they now going to give free 360's to people whose 360's break due to rrod no matter how long it has been since they purchased their consoles? If not, then they should because they designed rrod into the thing to be able to sell them on the cheap. Last poll I saw said the 360's failure rate had grown from 44% to 54% instead of shrinking while 90% of PS3s don't break.
