Wow Mafoo, putting words in my mouth a bit much? Don't do that, it's annoying as hell. I never said he wasn't bad at all. Obama actually had some fairly reasonable ideas when he started campaigning. They were perfectly fine when he started in the primaries, and then got more and more ridiculous as his popularity grew. Still, not unreasonable. I suspect though, that once he actually got to the White House, he found it was very different from what he had imagined. So he wasn't lying with his proposals during campaigning (at the time), but he broke his promises later under different circumstances.

The reason McCain didn't make claims like this, is he knew what the job included. Obama was hired to do the things he said he would do. He has no remotely followed through on any of them.

Remove us from War: He extended Iraq to the maximum term, and has started a major offensive in Afgan.

Fix the economy: He has spent trillions, and done nothing to stop it. We fell at the same rate after the bailouts, as we did before them.

Improve healthcare: he has no plan to speak of, so on this point, he has yet to do anything.

Close Gitmo on day one: Still open, and no signs of closing it.

Better Gay rights: He has done nothing in this department.

Those were the things he ran on, and got elected on. His track record in those areas is bad, and in some, is down right terrible. This, makes him a bad President.

1. I'm confused with this one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we're currently removing forces from Iraq (British left at the end of April), and U.S. forces have withdrawn from Baghdad. He seems to be doing fine in that department. As for Afghanistan, I distinctly remember him saying he would increase efforts in the region during his campaign.

2. Aren't those who slant more to the right always saying that the president doesn't really control the economy anyways? I realize that Obama promised to fix the economy, but I don't remember him promising any miracle cures. He's definitely made a lot of efforts towards fighting the recession, but the economy can't be cured in a couple of months. I'm not trying to sharply defend Obama here, I'm just saying what's true.

3. I hate to say it, but you should wait a tad bit longer. If Obama tried to do everything at once, it would be overkill. Let's let him save the economy and deliver us from hell and bring smiles to the faces of Americans again (or whatever) first. I can't think of too many presidents who acted upon most of their major policy decisions at once and did each one successfully.

4. Major screw-up on his part, I'll agree with you there.

5. Oh God, how could Obama not have made sweeping new legislation on gay rights within his first half of year in office? Unless Obama really said he'd make certain changes within a certain time frame, he hasn't really screwed up.
