She didn't have a point she had a ideology known only to herself. All she had to do was have a real question, and sadly she wasted it on a tantrum. Speaking to how much at fault Bush is well he is no more or less responsible for our current woes then the Republican party. A party who has a philosophy that big business can tend to itself, and that economics will see to their being responsible. A philosophy that was soundly proven to be false. They didn't act responsibly, and the American people were made to suffer, and even worse they were made to pay to salvage the situation. So when the Republicans had greater influence they loosened the leash, and the dog bolted right out of the yard and mauled the neighbor kid. The truth is you do have to reign in business you cannot just let them do as they please. I honestly wouldn't vilify them for the philosophy though. On paper it probably looked good, but it has proven to be another bad idea who's time has come. I also don't buy into this argument that partisanship is killing the process. The truth is that most congressmen do want to serve their constituents, and health care is a major problem. Not just for the public, but for business, and even from a humanitarian point of view. They know that the post war generation will be going into retirement soon, and it will be a massive burden on the system. They can hardly afford to have a bad system killing millions of Americans as their family watches on helplessly. Don't believe the hype. This ultra extremist crap isn't common place. Nor does it reflect the vast majority of Americans. The vast majority just want the system fixed, and aren't too particular in how it will be done. They paid these people to do a job, and they expect it to be done. They made that clear in the election. They want health care fixed. This women is the problem she isn't part of a solution. She just wants to be a problem. I think she deserves her humiliation. A adult should know better then to behave like that. |
