Wow Mafoo, putting words in my mouth a bit much? Don't do that, it's annoying as hell. I never said he wasn't bad at all. Obama actually had some fairly reasonable ideas when he started campaigning. They were perfectly fine when he started in the primaries, and then got more and more ridiculous as his popularity grew. Still, not unreasonable. I suspect though, that once he actually got to the White House, he found it was very different from what he had imagined. So he wasn't lying with his proposals during campaigning (at the time), but he broke his promises later under different circumstances.
