I gave my PS2 away to a nephew who can't even afford to buy a PS2. So yeah, I would have liked some b/c in my PS3. But don't wanna have to buy another PS3 to get b/c so I'd prefer a firmware update that gave us b/c by software emulation please. PS2 gotta die one day, on that day people will want some b/c on their shiny new machines. If they can do software emulation then there's no reason they can't make it available for sale through the PSN. There's no need to give it away, people who want it will pay for it. Some were willing to pay for it when they got their launch 60Gigs, now that the unit is 1/2 launch price I'm sure more would pay for it now.
PS3 has PS1 b/c mostly to play "classics" downloaded from PSN, PS4 oughta have PS2 b/c for the same reason. PS1 games of today are soooo dated in graphics and sound that they are bad in a good way, and there is nostalgia for these games. PS2 games are too recent to be bad in a good way, but by the time PS4 rolls out they'll hold the same place as PS1 games do today.
If I see the PS1 Oddworld games on PSN I'm getting them, guaranteed.
