Blu-ray is essential to PS3, obviously because it's games are on it, and Sony wants people to buy a PS3 for PLAYSTATION 3 games. I really don't see how that's dumb, but I guess we're all different for a reason.

Bluray is essential in its marketshare strategy and its profit margins but for gamers liek you and me it has turned out to be a complete dud.
Spirit of Dreamcast past is crying right now cause gamers suffer for lacking features due to inclusion of another media format by Sony...

Ok then, if we can make such a HUGE fucking deal about BC, let's just give credence to the ridiculous Sony arguments that somehow an 360 arcade is really 400+ dollars, Elites are 600+, etc, etc.
