We've already done gaming (as in, developers) itself a number of times before. The reason we're doing the entire gaming industry is because (1) then we can include people like Ken Kutaragi, Satoru Iwata, and Nolan Bushnell, who really weren't software developers but have done incredibly large things for the gaming industry nonetheless, and (2) this is a response to another commonly-considered "poorly done" writeup on the same topic.

I'm not complaining, it's a good idea, it was more of a reminder that we aren't voting on favorite games.
