I'd say so.

Just by looking at it, for 50 bucks more one can get a crap load of of extras with the PS3, so really anyone who isn't moved by motion controls and has no affinity to Nintendo games, and is just strapped for cash but still wants a console as well as a bang for their buck will be easily enticed to pick up a PS3...Nintendo just needs to drop the Wii by at least 50 bucks, that way there will be a 100 bucks difference which isn't as easy overcome as 50.

Just my 2 cents

If someone wasn't moved by motion controls and has no affinity to Nintendo games, why would they buy a Wii at all?

Anyway, considering Nintendo's strategy, I think cutting the price should only be used as a last resort. Afterall, The DSi is selling great, and it's $170 in the US. Colors and bundles will stall the Wii's slowdown, but Nintendo really just needs to put out more system selling titles.

They would want a wii because it would be cheap

The xbox 360 is cheaper, but it didn't destroy the Wii.
