Guys, guys, guys........
Microsoft did not raise the price of the 360. In Europe, it had to be raised to adjust to the ever changing exchange rate. This had absolutely nothing to do with Microsoft, it had to do with the laws of economics as well as the still struggling economy. The people SELLING the 360 had to raise the price, but this was not under a directive from Microsoft.
