Not only that... but the league went on Strike the best year when they were probably the favorites to win the world series....

 

and they REALLY shafted the Expos.

Whole damn league stripped them of there minor leagues and scouting which was always their strengths... and sold the team... to themselves.  Since nobody else wanted to buy it... and let their owner have a second franchise to fuck up.
