Was the E3 2009 Trailer for GT5 CGI?

Now, on-topic, like some people said, I do think there are bits of CGI and bits of gameplay. I've read a few articles talking about this (especially after this year's E3). Is it true or not? The world may never know.

 

Just saying it's because of GT that Forza exists.
