What difference would the Xbox 360 being $50.00 less than the PS3 make?

I don't think a price drop is needed for the 360. Right now people walk out the door with a 360 for $199 and a PS3 for $299, that's all the average consumer wil see. I'm betting the 360 still outsells the Ps3 this christmas even without another price drop.
