It's really not that kind of problem (yet). The first step is just figuring out what two flashing red lights mean and instead of making a thread, waiting for an answer and wading through the sarcastic responses, it would be much quicker to put on the big boy pants and search Google (or bing :-p) or Xbox.com.
I really have no idea what two red lights means, it could be as simple as something is plugged in funny (4 red lights) or as bad as three red lights (RRoD), and if it's something that's actually bad, then he call MS tech support and sit there on hold and find out what to do.

I tell him to go someplace else because I don't know the answer (because I've never needed to look it up). Why would I bother looking something up I really don't care too much about?
It would be hilarious (or sad, whichever way) if I told him what it was even though I had no clue what it was or hadn't looked it up.
