I think MS will wait to see what happens.
Selling Playstations is one thing but it still needs DEVS to harness the power properly. Ive lost count of the number of PS3 games with screen tearing and dodgy frame rates or games that have had graphical effects removed just to retain playability.
The 360 may be technically inferior to the PS3 but its got it where it counts. Games, loads of em.
That coupled with a powerful GPU has let the machine with 2 year older tech still capable of standing toe to toe with the PS3.
Sony needs to play up Blu Ray its the only firm advantage their console has and they need to exploit the fact.
