XD at the "Great lineup" Hardly games tyhat would make me want to rush out and buy a slim. I see only one game in your puny list that interests me, and believe me, I am not buying a second, overpriced console to play one game.

Irony. Some great trolling from a proud member of the Loyalty Free Gaming Movement!

Irony is, I was not trolling. Believe me when I say I would not mind owning a PS3, but the "great linup" that the OP cited, along with the fact the the PS3 is overpriced, and all the games that I would want to play (save a few) are multiplat. I'm not bashing the PS3, just the OP.

How is the ps3 overpriced? The fact its one of the best blu-ray players on the market already makes it worth $299

If I need a blueray player, I will go pick up a dedicated one for $130.00 The PS3 is not top of the line anymore, it's outdated. Also, BR isn't everything. Until Sony runs a price drop, I will not be buying a PS3...unless somebody has a used one in good condition.

You live in the US.  The ps3 is now $299, the same price as the current Pro 360, and soon to be Elite 360.  It comes with a comparable games line up and three features the 360 doesn't have - a Blu-ray player, built in wi-fi, and free online play.

Chances are you paid $299 or more for your 360, unless you went with the Arcade.  If you did go with the Arcade, that'd add one more item to the list of things the ps3 has that the 360 (rather, your 360) doesn't.  How is the ps3 overpriced but the 360 not in your little scenario?
