The Wii will almost certainly get DLC. When you think about it, a single song may only be 4-5MB - around 1% of the Wii internal memory.
And there wouldn't be a real issue with storing Wii tracks on a SD card.
It comes down to whether Activision have actually implemented the code - or whether they think its easier to market/sell an "expansion pack" disc for Wii owners.

A little surprised about the lead the Wii version is scoring - but then the 360 has already got GHII so its "less special" that GHIII is hitting it.
