I can think of one social link that will be impossible or won't be the same: Chihiro the treasurer. You know, she's afraid of dudes. They'll probably remove the Operation Babe Hunt event :(. Come to think, I wonder how Aigis will be introduced. She first appeared in that Babe hunt. There's another fun little event in the class trip that'll be changed - the hide n' seek hot spring. Not sure how Atlus will make that work. I mean, I'm pretty sure the guys won't be pissed when they find chicks in there. Also, I wonder what will happen to Ryoji. Either he'll be a chick, or Aigis and Ryoji will swap places. :-/ The more I think about it, the more I believe that they should've made a new Persona game instead of tackling a chick in P3, but I'll still get it. I'm hoping that your level resets to 1 when you start a new game+. In P3, you retained your level, and it made dungeon crawling too easy and tedious. |
That's really what I would've wanted instead. Persona 3 and FES were great games and I'm not really sure if adding a Female MC necessairly improves things. I'd definitely take P3P over nothing (or most every other game, actually), but a new story with a new MC at Gekkoukan High/Tatsumi Port Island would've been my preference. A Persona game with a gender option could definitely work if they build the storyilne from that perspective since the game's inception, but for a game that's as complete as FES is, I think I'd rather just prefer it if they made the Female MC a new character that appears in both paths. I'll still get the game and enjoy it, but I'm going into it thinking the FES will continue to remain the definitive version. Atlus has wowed me before, I just really hope they manage to do it again.
And I really think they should that the class trip at Yasoinaba High School this time.
