That is impressive makingmusic, and I'm sure Spider-Man 3 will break Transformers' short lived record, but I still don't see how one side is close to dying out. You also have to remember that the effects of the shift of Paramount and Dreamworks weren't seen until a big movie release (Transformers) showed up. Comparing sales next week will be very different I'm sure. Also, I'm guessing Spider-Man 3's percentage of sales on Blu-ray will be even less than Transformers' percentage was on HD DVD. To say either format is about to die pre-holiday (when most purchases will be made) doesn't make much sense.
