you know the saddest part when i was playing Crisis Core, every second i play the game was one step closer to his death.  At one point i didnt want to finish the game lol

I know exactly how you feel. I don't know how they did it but they made such a great character that you find yourself rooting for. And Im glad I got to experience this because without a doubt after playing Crisis Core Zack Fair is my favourite Character in the whole FF7 universe. And Im glad Square changed it from 3 guys to a whole army that it took to take him down. 

Honestly Crisis Core helped the original Final Fantasy So much. It fleshed out Sephiroth's character more and more showed and explained more just how he fell into such a dark place. Showed us How much Zack's death really affected Cloud as much as it did. And finally it re-imaged the Buster Sword making it way more memorable in My Eyes then it has ever been.

All in All Crisis Core had me wanting a FF7 Remake more than anything
