Great news i know this will be best rpg this gen. This game will be huge can't wait till Q2.

No FF game ever beats Mass Effect.

I feel sorry for FF13 because it will lose GOTY 2010 to ME2.

i feel sorry for you for thinking that.

So True. We all do. I don't know why he thinks that its not like FFXIII is an exclusive any more >.> he can play it now

Guys I dont hate FF. It's just not all it cracked up to be all the time. Look at my fave games in my profile. There is an FF game there. And it's a PS one game. Genuinely FF stories have progressively gotten worse and are all essentially teenage stories. They have to improve the story alot. As WRPG's are appealing alot more to me now I'm 26. Thats why Lost Odyssey was a breath of fresh air for JRPG's. Even if the story was generic it was told very maturely and had a good adult script.

FF has a following which is why it sells so much more than ME. It should do after 12 games. Bioware IMO and many others are better than SE. And honestly Square lost some great story writing and direction to Mistwalker. I more than anyone want FF13 to be great.

Dude this has nothing to do with adulthood. I am 22 years old as well and I don't see in any way what relevance this has to the games we are talking about. Almost every Final Fantasy has a very serious and mature story. And no, you are completely wrong, FF stories have not gotten wrose at all. In fact, Final Fantasy X and XII had two of the most standout stories out of any game in the series. The story in XII is probably the most serious and mature out of the entire series.

FF is a teenage story, but Lost Odyssey's story was told maturely??? Did we play the same Lost Odyssey? Don't get me wrong, I absolutley love the game. But Final Fantasy games (for the most part) have much more mature stories than L.O. The whoooole part of Lost Odyssey with Mack and Cooke, and the decision to include them as main characters in the game to begin with, made that game much less mature than most FF's. All the little goo goo gah gah scenes involving Mack brought the game down for me (it's still the best RPG this gen. by far). Not to mention Lost Odyssey relied HEAVILY on themes taken from Final Fantasy X (and the entire FF series in general).

Simply from playing the demo from FFXIII I can tell you that it will have a very serious story. And Square Enix abstolutley anihilates Bioware as far as making RPG's goes.
