Solid Snake is Just That Awesome The whole reason why the bosses tried to set up traps and potentially kill Snake are for different reasons. Big Boss underestimated his own Genes. He thought that a Rookie despite the fact it was his own son, would have been killed during the early stages of Outer Heaven. After seeing all of his men and comrades fall to Solid Snake's hands he decided if you want something done do it yourself. The end wanted to see the same potential in Snake that the Boss saw. That was suppose to be his last fight and if it was anyone it would be the son of the boss who would be the one to put him down for good. Once again Sniper Wolf's objective was to capture Snake for information during the first encounter. Best way to get a prey into your trap is to have a nice piece of bait which was Meryl's purpose. Get him so riled up that he makes a mistake like not watching out for a trap. The second time Wolf is trying to enter a duel that would more then likely end in her death. As she was waiting for someone to kill her. 6.) Metal Gear RAY - another piece of crap. Raiden takes his portable missile launcher and slaughters nine of these in a row. Amazing.. and this guy isn't even a "legendary hero". Blame GW and what a virus can do to an intelligent system. I assure you if Ocelot was piloting RAY Raiden wouldn't have made it past MGS2 |
Hope that helps

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
