Seriously folks, you expect a video game to have water tight continuity and internal consistency? Come on, it's no big deal. I just laughed off all the incongruities and played on killing all the bad guys. It might end up making the movie a bit shitty though, I tend to be less forgiving when movies have big holes in them, because in movies you don't get to go round blowing the heads of baddies and monsters.
