As a Nintendo fan, the man has a point. The Wii isn't for "everyone," it's for the majority. If Nintendo wants its next console to be truly for everyone, it needs to launch with a killer-app like MGS, Gears, Or Halo that can bring in the hardcore crowd. It also needs to launch with a well-known Nintendo property like Mario or Zelda, and it also needs to launch with a Wii Sports-like title to bring in the casual gamers. For this to work, Nintendo either needs to make a new studio dedicated to "hardcore" games or buy a studio that makes said "hardcore" games.
If this happens, Nintendo wins the next console cycle, and it will truly deserve to be called the "Wii."
