While other Catholic nations began to dedicate their own generals, sons, and soldiers to the re-capturing of Jerusalem, I was looking straight at that enemy. Venice.
I now had a context to not only attack them, but attack them with my fanatic Crusaders. I must becareful not to engage in a prolonged sieged, or else the Crusader force will distentegrate due to desertion.
I chose General Alberto, one of the few chivalrous men to lead the Crusade. He also lacked completely in piety, so this should do some good to instill God's words into him.
I was very pleased when I heard about his victory over the enemy's Doge.
As a reward for his defeating of the enemy Doge, I decided to adopt him directly into my family.
